Is a baby bikini inappropriate?

Critics are not happy with singer Jessica Simpson. During an interview on Katie Couric's talk show, Simpson showed off a picture of her 4-month-old baby wearing a yellow bikini.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the child welfare charity Kidscape criticized her for sexualizing her baby with the ‘totally inappropriate' outfit.

Simpson is not the first celebrity to be targeted for how she dressed her child.

In January, supermodel Cindy Crawford was criticized for allowing her 10-year-old daughter Kaia to pose in a short skirt.
