TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Multiple crews responded to the scene of an accident involving a quad in the Los Reales Wash.
Capt. Barrett Baker said the crash happened in the area of Interstate 19 and Valencia.
Two woman were riding an ATV at the time of the accident. No word yet on what caused it but, both women in their mid-20's were transported to a local hospital. One of the victims sustained head injuries.
Baker said they were not wearing helmets.
A helicopter was used to shine a spotlight on the area to aid crews in gaining visibility to the remote area.
