Neighborhoods take a stand against crime and violence

Today Oro Valley and Tucson Police departments are joining other organizations nationwide for the annual National Night Out crime and violence prevention event.

You can expect to have a fun night out and get helpful information. It's something for the whole family to enjoy.

Organizers hope this event will continue to form partnerships between the police and the community.

They are many Tucson neighborhoods coming together to take a stand against crime and violence.

Oro Valley at the Target Shopping Center on 10555 N. Oracle Road 6-9 p.m.

Midtown at Balboa Heights Park at 2535 N. Castro Avenue 5:30-8:30 p.m.
