TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
A man has died after an apparent road rage incident last week.
Tucson police say it began in the vicinity of East 22nd Street
and South Tucson Boulevard around 7:30 p.m. last Thursday, Oct. 4.
Someone in
a red passenger vehicle first fired shots at the victim vehicle in the area of
East 21st Street
and South Highland Avenue. A second set of shots were fired a block further on
21st at
South Mountain Avenue.
The victim
vehicle stopped in the area of 22nd and South Santa Rita Avenue. The
driver was not injured. But 22-year-old David Uribe was transported to a local
hospital where he died yesterday, October 8.
The suspect vehicle fled in an unknown direction. Police would
like the publics help tracking down information on the occupants of the red
car. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
