TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
A garage fire destroyed a truck near Grant and Campbell just after 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to Tucson Fire Captain Barrett Baker.
At least seven calls came into 911 reporting flames coming from a garage behind a home in the 1400 block of East Grant Road.
The woman who lives in the home says her dogs' barking woke her up. When she checked on what the two dogs were barking at, she discovered that her garage was on fire in the backyard, Baker stated.
She was able to get the dogs and get out of the house safely.
Firefighters were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the home, or the other neighboring properties.
There was some concern about power lines in the area. Tucson Electric Power responded to the scene to help control the power.
No injuries were reported. The damage is estimated at $32,000, Baker said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
