TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A school bus carrying more than 50 students was involved in a crash near Thornydale and Linda Vista today, according to Northwest Fire.

None of the children were hurt in the accident in which the bus collided with a delivery truck.

The Marana Unified School District bus had just picked up 54 students from Ironwood Elementary school on the southeast side of Marana.

Pima County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the crash.

District administrators describe the bus driver as experienced with no previous accidents driving the bus.

However, standard protocol will require her to take an alcohol and drug test.
