Big Canyon fire now 60% contained

A lightning-caused wildfire burning on the Tonto National Forest is now 60% contained.

The Big Canyon Fire is burning two miles west of the Tonto Fish Hatchery, about 14 miles east of Payson, Arizona.

The fire has burned 110 acres in rough terrain, since it was first spotted on October 14.

As of Sunday, the fires has cost more than $719,000 to fight.
