Boys and Girls Club’s Party benefits at-risk children

The United Way says about a third of all Tucson children go to kindergarten without skills essential for success.  Basically, they are at risk.

The Boys and Girls club of Tucson provides a much-needed chance for more than 8,000 kids.  The six clubs provide hope, fight delinquency and expose kids to important programs including career development and health and fitness.

More than half of former club members say the Boys and Girls club actually saved their lives!

This Friday, the clubs will have their largest fundraiser - providing money desperately needed to fund operations and programs at the six clubhouses.

"The Party" is at the Tucson Convention Center from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.  Five for Fighting will appear in concert.

KOLD is a proud sponsor of "The Party."   Tickets are $100 - half of that is tax deductible.  To buy tickets, or just donate to The Boys and Girls Club, go to thepartytucson.com.
