Green Living Fair aims to lower your bills

The Green Living Fair is Saturday at the Habistore in Tucson. It is free, open to the public, plus you can register to win an iPad.

At the Fair you can learn about water harvesting, organic gardening, recycling, sharing surplus items, alternative driving options, planting trees, maintaining your vehicle, and much more.  The goal is to lower bills for people in the community while also doing something good for the environment.

"This event isa great way to discover ideas to save on utility bills in a fun, low pressureenvironment," said Terry Dee, Director of the Habitat for Humanity HabiStore."And many of the exhibitors will have activities for families to participate inso, hopefully, everyone will leave learning new ways to be even greener intheir life."

HabiStore is located at 935 W. Grant Road, ¼ mile east of I-10.  The Green Living Fair runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
