Northwest Fire was working two accidents at 5:30 p.m., one near Interstate 10 and Ruthrauff Road and the other at Ina Road at Mona Lisa.
The accident near I-10 was on the eastbound frontage road at Ruthrauff. It was a head-on collision and has brought traffic to standstill, Capt. Adam Goldberg told Tucson News Now.
One patient was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries, Goldberg said. Another person refused transport to the hospital.
The accident on Ina involved a bicyclist. The rider suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Traffic was not impacted on Ina.
