Rural Metro Fire battling mobile home fire

Rural Metro Fire crews are working on a mobile home fire in the area of Benson Highway and Palo Verde.

It started on the 5600 block of South Bonney Avenue.

Firefighters say when they arrived to the home it was filled with smoke and flames.

They believe the fire started in one of the bedrooms.

At this point, it's unknown if there are any injuries.

The cause is under investigation.

    Once again Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is hosting the Heritage Flight Training and Certification Course (HFTCC) for 2018. Heritage Flight training involves historic military aircraft with civilian pilots and current fighter aircraft with Air Force pilots, practicing flying in formation together.
