Two men accused of trying to steal ATM

Two men have been arrested and accused of trying to steal an ATM machine from an Oro Valley bank.

According to a news release from the Oro Valley Police Department, two men were seen early Monday morning trying to steal the ATM located at the Chase Bank in the 11500 block of North Oracle Road.

The men were booked into the Pima County Jail.

Gerald Paul Cox, 46, was charged with theft over $25,000, criminal damage above $10,000, possession of burglary tools and theft of means of transportation.

LeVar Coryell Mariner, 34, was charged with conspiracy to commit theft over $25,000, conspiracy to commit criminal damage over $10,000 and possession of burglary tools.

The Oro Valley Police Department is working with the Gilbert Police Department for possible additional charges related to several similar incidents in Maricopa County.
