Join us in helping victims of Hurricane Sandy

It's estimated about a million homes and businesses in New York and New Jersey are still without power after Hurricane Sandy.

Damage estimates for the super storm could reach billions of dollars.

It's been horrible to see the pictures of the destruction.  And to make it worse, there is another storm bearing down on the area.

Today, KOLD News 13 and KMSB FOX 11, will join with World Care and A-Family Discount Storage to gather supplies.  World Care is establishing a distribution point in Sayreville, NJ.

Supplies needed are new blankets, paper products like toilet paper, and hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste and tooth brushes.  A complete list can be found on our website, Tucson News Now.

We will be broadcasting live all day today from the A-Family Discount Storage near Speedway and Camino Seco.  Come by and donate there or at any other of the A-Family locations.

If you would rather give cash, go to www.worldcare.org.  Thank you for helping and caring.
