TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The Avra Valley Fire District helped Pima County deputies
rescue a cow stuck in a metal grate.
Deputies found the cow around 2 p.m. with its legs stuck in
between the metal bars. Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to spread open
the bars.
The cow was able to get out and sustained cuts to its legs.
Firefighters said it looked like its legs were swollen. A rancher came by to
pick up the animal and it seemed to be doing okay.
