World Care collecting donations for storm victims, pets

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The World Care Civilian Emergency Relief Center of Tucson and A-Family Discount Storage are accepting donations for victims of the storms that have hammered the northeast.

World Care announced today that in addition to the items listed below, they are requesting good quality new canned or dry cat or dog food and pet beds in good condition.

The other requested items are:

Basic hygiene; diapers - adult and baby

Clothing - new socks and underwear; warm winter clothes, clean - gently used; children's clothing, clean - gently used

Non-perishable food, unopened

You can drop off donations at any of A-Family's 17 locations across Tucson (M-Sa 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sun 9 a.m.-1 p.m.) or at World Care's donation center at 3538 E. Ellington Place (MWF 9 a.m.-3 p.m., TTH 9 a.m.-6 p.m.).  To find the A-Family location closest to you go online to http://www.afamilystorage.com.
