World Care will be sending out a truck full of supplies for those still living in shelters along the mid-Atlantic coast.
That's set to leave Tucson Friday morning between 10:00 a.m. and noon.
A second truck will head out next week.
In addition to hygiene products, there will also be items for pets.
Volunteers with Team Up For Tucson dropped off hundreds of pounds of pet food and other supplies at World Care headquarters Thursday morning.
Everything from bowls, to leashes, to collars.
Hurricane Sandy changed life for everyone in its path, including animals whose owners lost their homes.
