Foles throws 1st TD pass in NFL debut with Eagles

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has left the game against Dallas with an eye injury and is being evaluated for a concussion. There is no immediate word on his return.

Former University of Arizona standout Nick Foles received a big ovation when he took over with the game tied 7-7 in the second quarter.

Foles, a third-round draft pick out who had a strong preseason for the Eagles, threw a 42-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, putting the Eagles ahead 14-10.

Vick threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Riley Cooper in the first quarter. He had 2,095 yards passing, 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions entering the game.

The game is being shown on Fox 11 in Tucson.
