The Tucson Falcons advanced to the Jr. Midget Division Arizona State Championship game Saturday night with a 14-0 victory over the Tucson Rams in the Tucson Youth Football League's City Southern Arizona Championship.
The Falcons were up 6-0 at halftime and put the game away in 4th quarter with a touchdown run by DJ Hinton.
The Falcon defense pitched another shutout; their 8th of the year.
The Falcons will now play for the State Championship next Saturday at Mesquite High School in Gilbert, AZ at 5 p.m.
The team comprised of 10-13 year olds will also be going to Las Vegas, NV to play in the National Youth Football Championships (Western Division) during Thanksgiving weekend.
