Here's a traffic alert you need to know
about on the northwest side.
Cortaro Road
will be closed at the railroad tracks starting Thursday at 8 p.m. and
will stay closed through 4 p.m. Sunday.
Anyone trying to cross the
tracks will be detoured to Ina or Twin Peaks road via Thornydale, Oldfather or
Hartman Road when approaching from the east side of the
crossing or via the I-10 frontage roads when approaching
from the westbound I-10 frontage road or west of the crossing.
The closure is taking place so that Union Pacific can build new tracks there.
A
similar closure happened last week at the Ina Road, railroad crossing.
