(FOX) -
What's better than Thanksgiving dinner? Thanksgiving leftovers.
The USDA's Meat and Poultry Hotline has tips to make sure you don't get sick from bad food.
- Make sure food doesn't sit out for longer than two hours. Refrigerate ASAP.
- Keep food cool when traveling home with leftovers.
- Store food in smaller containers to prevent bacteria from growing.
- Reheat leftover turkey to at least 165 degrees.
