Search for missing Oro Valley woman on hold

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The search for an Oro Valley woman believed to be missing on Mt. Lemmon is on hold.

Police say Janet Rennspies, 51, was last seen Wednesday morning.

Family members found her car at the observatory on Mt. Lemmon.

We have learned the family experienced a loss nearly two weeks ago when Rennspies' husband passed away.

The official search for Janet Rennspies is on hold until authorities can develop new information.
