TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Tucson Fire crews
responded to an apartment fire around 4 p.m. Wednesday. It happened on the 3600
block of East Blacklidge, near Glenn and Dodge.
At first, crews
were called to a report of a fire that had already been put out. But,
firefighters discovered it was still burning when they arrived.
The fire was
contained to one apartment and it took 22 firefighters to put out. No one was
injured.
The cause is under
investigation, but according to Tucson Fire it started in the bedroom. The estimated
amount of damages is $25,000.
