TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Happening later today, the President of the University of Arizona will lay out her vision for the school's future.

President Ann Weaver Hart has been working at the University since July 1, but today is a ceremonial day, a passing of the torch.  It is inauguration day.

Time for Hart to provide leadership and plans for the University's direction; she has said she wants to let the entire community know, "To survive is to evolve."

She plans to build public-private partnerships, find new revenue and become more efficient.

There will be a number of dignitaries on hand for the ceremony.  Governor Brewer is scheduled to be here and speak this afternoon.

The inauguration is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Centennial Hall.  There will be an outdoor reception just after the ceremony.  Both events are open to the public.

Come join Tucson News Now at the ceremony, as we continue our coverage both online and on air.
