Later today the Christmas spirit is coming to Oro Valley, with their annual tree lighting ceremony.
It's time to light the 35-foot Christmas tree and celebrate the start of the holiday season.
It will be an evening full of entertainment, where everyone can enjoy live holiday music, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa.
Various community groups and local schools are coming out to put on a show; there will be lots of activities for kids and for some good causes.
Oro Valley will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Interfaith Community Services Food Bank.
This is all happening at the Oro Valley Marketplace, off Oracle and Tangerine from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The fun does not stop there though, the Oro Valley Festival of the Arts starts tomorrow at the Oro Valley Marketplace.
