The car that slammed into a man and his 3-year-old daughter.
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The scene where a man and his 3-year-old daughter were struck by a car cleared just before 10 p.m. on Friday night.
The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. near Sixth & Bilby -- not too far from I-19 and Valencia on Tucson's south side.
The 27-year-old man was carrying his daughter across a dark street, about 50 yards away from a lit up intersection.
The car carried the baby a short distance before coming to a complete stop. The father fell immediately.
Paramedics say the pair was taken to a local hospital and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
