An assistant professor in the University of Arizona College of Public Health received nearly half a million dollars in grant money to research type 2 diabetes.
His research will look at how to predict type 2 diabetes risk early using genetic information across different ethnic groups.
Yann C. Klimentidis, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the epidemiology and biostatistics division of the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. He received the $440,000 grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.
