Zoe has a lot to give

Zoe is a four year old Queensland Heeler Lab mix.

She has had it rough.

Her former owners abandoned her last summer.

She has been at the Pima Animal Care shelter since June when officers picked her up.

Even with all her past experience with people, Zoe loves to play ball and she has a lot of energy.

She walks well on leash, knows how to sit, and she gets along well with other animals

Zoe is a favorite among the volunteers at the shelter.

Her adoption fee is $25, and that includes shots, spay surgery , a microchip and license.

You must visit PACC at 4000 North Silverbell to adopt Zoe.

For more great pictures of Zoe, check Ted Hewitt Photography's Facebook page.

Last week's pet, Jimmy Joe is still available for adoption.

You would think the time on the front lines got the best of Louis Mirabelli. He has spent a week fighting the Sawmill Fire, since the first 911 call came in southeast of Green Valley on Sunday, April 23, around noon. Since then, he's been sleeping in tents, under the smoky stars, with a regimented three square meals a day.
