Law enforcement crackdown during holiday season

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Officers with the Florence County Sheriff's Office will be using checkpoints to make the roads safer during this holiday season.

The 12 Circuit Law enforcement Network of Florence and Marion counties will be using checkpoints to reduce fatal traffic accidents, deter incidents of driving under the influence and enforce traffic laws.

The DUI saturations and safety checkpoint will last throughout the month of December.
