The USS Tucson participated in a Pearl Harbor Day commemoration today in Hawaii.
More than 2,000 guests attended the 71st Anniversary Pearl Harbor Day Commemoration. Pearl Harbor survivors and other veterans were in attendance.
The ceremony was hosted by the National Park Service and the U.S. Navy.
This was the first time a submarine has participated in the event. USS Tucson is the second ship of the United States Navy to bear the name. It is commanded by CDR Ted O'Harrah and is manned by a crew of 150.
