Officials investigating accident in Tyler that has left two people dead

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Two people have died following a four-vehicle accident in Tyler.

Officials say that the accident happened Saturday afternoon off of Spur 364 near Lindsay Park. Four vehicles were involved in the wreck. Two people have died from their injuries. Other injuries have been reported, but the number and the extent of those injuries is not currently known.

Part of spur 364 was closed down and traffic was backed up in the area, but the wreck has since been cleared.
