The second day of the Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair is winding down and it's big business for more than just the merchants who are there.
Hotel workers we spoke with today say they can definitely feel the impact. The street fair is expected to draw in 300,000 people this weekend.
People were shoulder to shoulder looking for arts and crafts, food and entertainment.
There are around 400 vendors there, a portion of them from out of town, as well as some visitors.
Karlen Ross with Hotel Congress says he's seen about a 25% spike in business.
"I see a lot more people coming through. Of course, weekends are very busy but we have an extra bump of people coming in for street fair, coming and checking out downtown while they're on Fourth Avenue," said Ross.
We also checked with a few other hotels, like Double Tree and Sheraton, whose workers tell us they're busier than normal this weekend.
