TYF: Falcons fly high

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - It's been a great year for the Falcons football program of the Tucson Youth Football  League.

The Junior Midget division squad went undefeated, won the Tucson City Championship, played for the State title and competed in a national tournament in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving, while the Cadet level squad returned Saturday night from their Nationals in Florida where the club finished in second place overall.

The Cadet Falcons finished the season at 12-2 winning games at Nationals over ember 3rd the Bay Area Spartans, 35-0 and Prince George Chargers, 38-7, before losing in the title game to the New Jersey Wall Knights.

Cadet level football consists of players between the ages of eight and ten years old.
