Due to a one vehicle accident, the intersection of 29th Street and Columbus Avenue was closed. According to police, one person is dead.
The victim was identified as 51-year-old Rizaldy Yap.
Police determined that Yap was in a 2006 Honda Pilot when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a concrete wall.
It is unknown what made him lose control of his car. Yap was transported to a hospital but died shortly after.
The intersection was closed for hours.
