Jury selection is underway in a Tucson
murder case that goes back decades.
Glen Francis was extradited from Canada last
year for the 1990 murder of Tucson imam Rashad Khalifa.
Khalifa was found stabbed to death
in his mosque near the University of Arizona.
Investigators say Khalifa had been threatened over his mathematical interpretation of the Quran and that Francis began studying at the
mosque under an assumed name shortly before Khalifa was killed.
Khalifa's interpretation angered some Muslim extremists.
