COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
Police say a Northgate bank was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday.
According to authorities, a suspect entered the 5/3rd Bank at 3653 Springdale Road, and set a black handgun on the teller counter, demanding money.
It happened around 4:30 p.m., near to the Northgate Mall in Colerain Township.
Dispatchers say the man fled the scene on foot before police arrived.
A K9 unit was called to track him, but lost the suspect between the nearby McDonald's and Walgreens stores.
Police say he is a black male around 20-years-old. He's described as 5'11'', 175 pounds, with a beard. He was wearing a black zipper hoodie, black sweat pants and black shoes.
He was carrying a duffle bag which he used to put an unknown amount of money in.
