TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The deadline is this week to get your comments
into the Arizona Department of Transportation about a new rail link between Tucson and Phoenix.
ADOT has been
taking comments for more than a month now. There are six different options where a new
passenger rail could be placed.
A seventh option is express bus service
between the two cities.
ADOT is trying to ease future
congestion. It estimates the one and a half-hour drive
between the two cities could take five hours starting in the year 2050.
