Big Island man with ‘Jesus Christ' tattoo on forehead charged with murder

Police on the Big Island have located and charged Jason Russell Jump of Pahoa with second-degree murder for the death of another man.

Police were searching for Jump, 36, who has a red tattoo on his forehead that says "Jesus Christ", following the discovery of a body in a home in Nanawale Estates.

The victim has been identified as 54-year-old James V. Johns, Sr.

Jump was charged with the crime Tuesday night. He remains at the Hilo police cellblock in lieu of $250,000 bail.
