An overnight shooting leaves one man in the hospital, and another in the Pima County Jail.
Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine tells Tucson News Now, at approximately 3:50 a.m. Saturday, they received a report of a shooting in the 11900 block of East Barbary Coast Road, near East Tanque Verde Road and North Soldier Trail, in the 49er Country Club.
Deputies responded, and found a 30-year old man who had suffered a gunshot wound to his head.
Peine says the suspect was located in the backyard of the residence, and taken into custody.
Peine says the victim was transported to University of Arizona Medical Center. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening
Detectives say family members and neighbors were having a party, when an argument erupted between two men. Peine says the suspect, Robert Wallace, 37, fired a round at the victim, striking the him the head.
Wallace was booked on one count of Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon.
