Tucson Police say they have
caught a metal thief who barely made it out of a scrap year.
Francisco Robles, 50, was
arrested Sunday night outside of Tucson Iron and Metal, located near 36th
Street and Park Avenue.
Police got a call about a
burglary in progress and officers say they saw Robles climbing over the fence
as they arrived.
They say he was carrying a small
amount of scrap wiring on him. Now he has been charged with third degree
burglary.
