TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Tucson Police have arrested two men that they say are
responsible for shoplifting dozens of cases of beer.
Raymond Monday, 29, and Robert Bowman, 35, were arrested yesterday
around 8:15 p.m. Police say they pulled them over, after noticing they were driving
in an alley without headlights near the Circle K at Speedway and Swan.
Police determined the two had just shoplifted four 30-packs
of beer. After further investigation, authorities believe the two are also
responsible for between 75-100 beer thefts in the past year.
Police say they stole the beer and sold it at a discounted
price.
They have been booked into the Pima County Jail. Police are
asking that any retailer that recognizes either of the suspects from previous
shoplifting incidents, call the detective on this case at: (520) 837-7431.
