Pima County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a single vehicle accident on Mt. Lemmon.
It happened Sunday morning on General Hitchcock Highway near milepost twenty.
Deputies say the vehicle drove into a guard rail, flipped and rolled and landed upright.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. He was airlifted out and taken to the hospital.
Additional passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital as well.
Authorities believe alcohol was involved.
The accident is under investigation.
