TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The town of Bisbee had a chance to enjoy a snow day today while city crews were busy clearing the roads and breaking down a huge snow ball that was blocking traffic.

Some parts of Bisbee saw at least 8 inches of snow.

Aylin Gonzalez had to pull off the road to take in the winter wonderland right in her own backyard.

"It's really pretty. It hasn't snowed here in a while. Especially like this," said Gonzalez.

From snapping pictures to snowball fights, the snow was a lot of fun for many. But it did cause a bit of a hassle for others.

David Alvarez and his buddies made what they call the biggest snowball in Cochise County and it ended up blocking traffic in downtown.

"It was taller than I was. Probably weighed 500 pounds," said Alvarez. "We were pushing it with the car and it just didn't get nowhere. So, we were like we accomplished our thing for the day."

The group said it meant no harm.

"It doesn't snow every day this is the first time we've gotten this much snow in years," said Alvarez. "We might as well make the best of it."
