A two-alarm fire caused significant damage to a historic downtown building on Tuesday morning.
The building in the 100 block of East Congress is home to Wig-O-Rama.
Conditions inside the building were determined to be unsafe for firefighters, so the fire was fought defensively, from the outside.
No one was found inside the building before the decision to fight the fire from outside.
The roof was heavily damaged and several air-conditioning units fell through the roof.
No one was injured in the fire. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire and an estimate of the damages.
