Smell of smoke prompts partial evacuation of UA building

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A University of Arizona building was partially evacuated today because of the smell of smoke.

The sixth floor of the UA Medical College was evacuated. There were no reports of injuries.

The UA Medical Center, which is next door to the college, was not affected.

The Tucson Fire Department is investigating the source of the smell, but says a burned-out motor in the heating system may be to blame.
