A man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a Payless
shoe store on New Year's Day.
Tucson Police Officers responded to the store located at
485 E. Wetmore Road after a man reportedly entered with his hand behind his
back, threatened harm and demanded money.
The suspect left in a green Isuzu Rodeo that police were
able to trace to an apartment complex in the 400 block of S. Camino Seco.
Darrell Sheets, 45, was arrested for one count of
robbery.
