TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
According to Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine, there was a serious
accident involving a motorcyclist and a car around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.
This is located near Houghton and Interstate 10.
According to deputies, a
car was heading north on Houghton and came to a stop to make a left turn onto
Dawn. However, the motorcyclist traveling behind the car did not stop and collided with the vehicle.
The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and had to be
airlifted. Deputies say alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
