Rural/Metro crews able to keep house fire from spreading

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Rural/Metro fire crews responded to reports of a house fire in the 3700 block of N. Tres Lomas Thursday afternoon. This is near Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway.

According to fire crews, the fire started in the kitchen and they worked in a fast attack mode to control the fire. They were able to stop the fire from spreading by opening up the drywall and putting out the flames.

The resident was able to get out but did experience some smoke inhalation and was evaluated by paramedics.
