MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Starting today construction in the Marana area will carry over to the rest of the weekend; so plan ahead for weekend activities.
The westbound I-10 entrance and exit ramps at Tangerine Road will be closed off for paving work starting this morning from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., both today and Saturday.
Also starting today, the Arizona Department of Transportation will close Tangerine Road under I-10, then on Saturday expect additional road closures in the area between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Two lanes of eastbound I-10 will be closed just north of Avra Valley Road; as well as the eastbound I-10 Frontage Road will be closed from Barnett Road up to Postvale Road.
If you have weekend plans in the area keep this in mind – plan ahead and possibly expect to spend some extra time coming through these areas.
