25-year-old man faces assault charges in midtown shooting

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man was sent to a local hospital and another to the Pima County jail Sunday after a shooting in midtown Tucson.

Officers responded around 10:30 a.m. to the 1500 block of East Waverly Street, near East Grant Road and North Campbell Avenue, Tucson Police Sgt. Chris Widmer said.

Widmer said officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a residence.

The man's injuries were life-threatening, Widmer said. 

Officers immediately set up a ground search for the suspect and arrested 25-year-old Jared Hall.

Hall was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
