Firefighters discover body at mobile home fire on SW side

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Investigators are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding a mobile home fire on Tucson's southwest side. A burned body was found in the home after the fire.

Homicide and arson investigators from the Pima County Sheriff's Department and Drexel Heights Fire District are on the scene in the 6600 block of South Settler Avenue, but there is no determination yet about what caused the fire or how the person inside died.

While crews were battling the flames, one of the female residents showed up to the scene. One of two people associated with the home near West Valencia and South Caballo roads remains unaccounted for. The body has yet to be identified.
